Elma bv is a brand-independent technical service provider specialised in electric drive and control systems for the marine industry. We service offshore vessels, dredgers, luxury yachts, passenger ships, cargo ships, oil tankers and naval ships. Elma has three divisions, each offering specific solutions for maritime customers:
System integration, turnkey projects
Elma’s Systems division is specialised in engineering, programming, assembling, installing and commissioning control systems for a wide variety of marine applications. Some typical applications are: electrical drive and steering solutions, heavy lifting and heave compensated lifting applications.
Thanks to an extensive international partner network spare parts can be delivered worldwide. If needed our service engineers can be on site at short notice.
One-stop-shop for E-motor + starter packages
Our ‘Elma Marine Solutions’ division is offering complete E-motor + Starter packages. These propulsion systems are totally integrated and suitable for all types of vessels. Each integrated system is engineered in E-PLAN. All used components are worldwide class approved. Customers can count on following benefits:
