BBS Industrie B.V. is specialised in bearing and friction engineering. Our products are especially developed for motion and wear processes in the maritime industry. All your needs for composite bearings, slide pads, glacier bushings, brake lining or friction materials are met by our product range.
Bearing technology
Just as every industry has its own preference for a type of bearing, every application has its preference for a specific variant. Some options are sleeve bearings, ball bearings or sliding bearings.

Our composite material is available in multiple variants. Our Teclite 600R composite bearing material, for example, is developed specifically with an extremely low friction coefficient, to prevent stick slip.
Do you own your own machine facilities? We can supply unmachined composite tube and sheet material in addition to our range of bearing products.
Brake and friction
BBS Industrie B.V. supplies products for brake and friction technology as well as overhaul work on brake bands and shoes.

These materials can either be supplied vulcanised or as separate units.
Our WR251 woven brake lining is specially developed to combine good friction characteristics with flexibility. The high friction coefficient performs excellently in wet, oily and damp environments, which makes this product particularly suitable for maritime applications.
Overhaul of brake bands and shoes
New brake bands and shoes can be coated by our experts with woven brake linings or molded brake linings. We install the brake linings by vulcanising the brake bands in a convection oven. It is also possible to recondition your existing brake bands and shoes if that is more suitable.
